Accuracy is the product. A fix belongs on the record, not in a quiet edit. This page explains how to report an error, what we do with the report, and where every correction is logged.

Corrections policy and log
When we get something wrong, we fix the page and record it here. The log starts at our launch on October 14, 2026.

How to report an error
Readers, agencies, and sources can all report errors. Send:
- The page URL, and the heading or sentence if you can.
- What is wrong, in plain words.
- What it should say, with a source we can check.
What happens next
- We check the source. We re-read the source we cited and the source you sent. A claim does not change on assertion alone.
- We fix the page. If we got it wrong, we correct the text and add a dated note that says what changed.
- We log it here. Corrections and clarifications go in the log below with the date, the page, and a short summary.
- Profiles move together. On an agency profile, the score, the score note, and the last verified date change together.
If the original claim holds, we reply with the source we relied on.

Disagree with a score or a judgment?
A correction fixes a fact. If you disagree with a score, a framing, or a call we made, write in anyway. We read every message, and where the evidence supports it, we add context or a clarification. Scores follow the methodology, and the rest of our rules are in the editorial standards.
