Marketing Agency News ("we" or "us") publishes news, buyer guides, and an agency index at marketingagencynews.com. The site is a static publication. Every reader gets the same pages, and we collect as little as we can.
What this site does not do
- No accounts. You never sign up, log in, or set a password to read anything here.
- No cookies. We set no cookies, for tracking or for anything else.
- No analytics. We run no analytics tools, ad pixels, or tracking scripts.
- No ads and no data sales. We show no ads, and we never sell or rent personal information.
What our host records
Like any website, this one runs on a hosting provider. When your browser requests a page, the provider's servers record standard request details: your IP address, the page requested, the time, your browser's user agent, and the response code. The provider uses these logs to deliver the site and to protect it from abuse and attacks. We do not combine these logs with any other data, and we do not use them to profile readers.
When you email us
If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and what you write. We use it to reply, to check tips, and to fix errors. Our email provider stores these messages for us. We keep correspondence for as long as we need it for those purposes and for the corrections record.
The contact form does not send data to us. It builds a draft in your own email app, and nothing reaches us until you send that email.
Links to other sites
We link to sources, platforms, and agency websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and their policies apply once you leave marketingagencynews.com.
Your choices
You can ask what correspondence we hold from you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email editor@marketingagencynews.com. Depending on where you live, the law gives you further rights over your personal data, and we honor valid requests under those laws.
Children
This site is written for business owners. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we add analytics, a newsletter, or any other tool that collects data, we will update this page before that tool goes live and change the effective date at the top. Each version of this policy states its effective date.
