Terms of use

Plain-English ground rules for reading and sharing this site. Nothing here, these terms included, is legal advice.

These terms cover your use of marketingagencynews.com, published by Marketing Agency News ("we" or "us"). By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Information, not advice

Our news, guides, glossary, and agency index are general information. They are not legal, tax, financial, or other professional advice. Your choice of agency, contract, or budget is yours to make. Where the stakes are high, check the details with your own lawyer or accountant.

Scores and rankings

Agency scores are our editorial judgment, made under the public methodology and based on public evidence as of each profile's last verified date. Agencies change, and a score is not a promise of results for your business. We disclose our business relationships next to every ranking. The methodology explains how we handle them.

Sharing our work

  • You can link to any page.
  • You can quote short passages, with credit to Marketing Agency News and a link to the page.
  • Copying whole articles, guides, or the agency index to republish elsewhere needs our written permission.

Acceptable use

When you use the site, do not:

  • Attack, overload, or try to break into the site or its systems.
  • Present our content as your own, or claim a relationship with us that does not exist.
  • Use the site to break the law or someone else's rights.

Names and trademarks

Agency, platform, and product names belong to their owners. We use them to identify what we write about and to comment on it. Their use here does not mean those companies endorse us or that we endorse them.

We link to sources and to agency websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices. Their own terms apply once you leave marketingagencynews.com.

No warranty

We work to get every fact right, and we fix errors in the open on the corrections page. Even so, we provide the site "as is." We do not promise that every page is complete, current, or free of errors, or that the site will always be available.

Limits of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses that come from using the site or relying on its content. That includes lost profits, lost revenue, and lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we post the new version here with a new effective date. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
